ABOUT US

                       Chaitanya Rural Development Society is a registered non-profitable organization grounded in social values for the care of the weaker sections of the society and to serve them without any consideration of caste or creed. It acts as a catalyst and convener of social justice and development. Chaitanya aims at the upliftment and sustainable development of rural poor, empowerment of women, backward communities through education, health, environment, agriculture, horticulture, watershed development, forestry, social awareness programs and community-based rehabilitation programs. It was founded in 1996 and is inspired by good leadership. It has been promoting its mission through a number of programs since its establishment for the realization of its vision.

The Organization expertise in Farmers Producers Organization(FPO) and linkages to Women Self Help Groups(SHGs). It has well experience staff, board and advisers. Our Present Partners are NABARD, NABFINS, NABKISAN, NABCONS, NABFOU, GoK- Department of Agriculture, Horticulture, RDPR, ICICI and Dhwani Foundation. Active member in FEVOURD-K, VYK, VANI and NAFPO. The organisation is certified with Guide Star, Give India, Global giving and CAF.

STRATEGIC GOALS

  • To enhance the income of 5000 farmers to 50% and establish sustainable linkages of 15 FPOs by 2026
  • To promote Agri Enterprises for 150 Farmers by 2024.
  • To promote 5000 hectares under watershed by 2026.
  • To support 200 differently-abled women by 2025.
  • To secure livelihoods of 500 youth in self-employment and support 15 women groupenterprises
    by 2026.
  • To Support health emergencies for 5000 families by 2024.
  • To build a multipurpose Training Centre and INR 50 lakhs as a corpus by 2026.
